Rental Shop Setup
The Rental Shop app allows team members to issue rental products to guests using their iPhone. This guide covers the requirements for using the Rental Shop feature.
Prerequisites
Before using the Rental Shop app, complete the following setup:
- Rental Fleet: Set up your Rental Fleet with correctly configured Rental Entitlements.
- Team Permissions: Invite team members with the required Roles and Permissions for the Rental Shop app.
Device Requirements
The Rental Shop app requires an iPhone with:
- iOS 16 or later
- Functioning back camera (for scanning)
- NFC-enabled device
- Stable Wi-Fi connection
UHF devices are not compatible with the Rental Shop app. Do not configure UHF on phones intended for rental shop use.
Getting Started
Once the prerequisites are met, the Rental Shop app is ready to use. No additional device configuration is required.
- Download and open the Operator App on the iPhone.
- Log in with team member credentials that have Rental Shop permissions.
- Navigate to the Rental Shop section to begin issuing rentals.
