Access Entitlements

Access entitlements are the base layer for all of your access products. Entitlements get tied to your guests profile and allow them access to whenever you specify.

Options

Access entitlements can be configured with a number of different options to ensure they work with your ticket’s requirements.

Season

You can optionally specify a season the ticket is valid for, so that guests cannot use the tickets of a previous season.

Activities

You can optionally specify the activities this access entitlement is involved in. We recommend adding this, as it will help when searching for your entitlement.

Entitlement Title

You must specify the title of the entitlement. We recommend a title that describes the entitlement’s use cases, or summarizes its rules. For example, “Full Day Access”, or “Full Season Access”, or “Season Access with Blackouts”. This title will be visible to the access scanner.

Default Scope

The default scope of an access entitlement determines the duration of the validity of the rules. There are a few options:

  • Between First and Last Use: Must be used while access is still valid.
  • Inventory Use Date Only: Used on date of access.
  • Inventory Use Only: Just used to pull from inventory

Default Uses

The number of default uses on an access entitlement determines the number of times an entitlement on a ticket can be activated. Each activation will still follow the rules. This works great for multi-day tickets.

Entitlement Description

You can optionally provide a description of the entitlement. This can help your team identify what the entitlement was created for. We recommend describing the expected behavior of the entitlement.

Entitlement Rules

There are a number of different rules you can attach to an access entitlement. This determines how the ticket will be able to be used: when, and where. You can add as many rules as needed, and our system will combine them to limit the ticket’s access.
