General Ledger

The General Ledger sets the foundation for how your products will report revenue. SnowCloud gives all the flexibility you need to sell and report on your revenue how you want to. Currently, three GL types are supported:

• Accrual
• Cash
• Tax/Fee Account

If you are logging into your account for the first time, or you haven’t fully set up your GL yet, you may see placeholder GL codes. You can edit or delete these as you see fit. Please note that the SP-FEE is a system locked fee, which means you cannot modify or delete it.

To access the General Ledger, click Accounting then, Then select General Ledger under the accounting setup menu.

Creating a New GL Code

1. To create a new GL code click the (+) button in the top right corner.
2. Then Select your GL Type
3. Create your GL Title
4. Add your GL code
5. Give your use description
6. Click “Save New Code”

Modify an Existing GL Code

1. Click the edit icon in the actions column
2. Review and modify any options
3. Click “Save Changes”
