Invite Your Team to SnowCloud
In SnowCloud, each member of your team can have their own account, complete with their own set of permissions and settings. In this article, we’ll show you have to invite a new team member to SnowCloud.
Inviting a Team Member
-
Start by logging into your SnowCloud account.
-
Using the left sidebar, click on Team/HR, then under the Team & Security section, click on Team Members.
-
You should now see a list of all existing team members. To invite a new team member, click on the Plus icon at the top right of the page.
-
Next, you’ll be prompted to provide the team member’s email address. Enter their email address, then click Search.
-
If the email address is not already associated with a SnowCloud account, you’ll be prompted to enter information about the team member.
Enter the team member’s first name, last name, hire date, and employee ID.
-
Lastly, you’ll select the team member’s Classification. This field controls what a team member can and cannot do within SnowCloud.
As a general rule, it’s a good practice to only provide the permissions necessary for the team member to complete their job duties.
By default, SnowCloud provides several classifications, such as Administrator, Manager, and Employee. If you don’t see a role that fits the team member’s needs, you can create custom classifications, which we’ll cover in the next section.
-
Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, click Save & Invite to invite the team member to SnowCloud.
Next, we’ll show you how to create a custom classification for team members. This will allow you to create roles that are tailored to your organization’s needs. To continue, click on the link below.
