Food and Beverage Shop Settings Reference

SnowCloud offers a variety of settings to customize and manage your food and beverage shops effectively. This reference guide provides an overview of the key settings available for F&B shops.

Shop Location Settings

Shop Name

The Shop Name field allows you to specify the name of your food and beverage shop. This name will be displayed to customers and used for identification within SnowCloud.

Parent Location

The Parent Location field enables you to nest your shop within an existing location. This is useful for organizing multiple shops under a single parent location.

Reservation Mode

The Reservation Mode dropdown lets you configure how your shop handles reservations. The available options are:

  • Dining/Table Reservations: Accept reservations for dining or table service.
  • Pickup-Time Reservations: Accept reservations for pickup at a specific time.
  • Walk-in Only: Only accept walk-in customers.

TIPS GL Account

If your shop accepts tips, you can configure the accounting GL code using the TIPS GL Account field. This ensures that tips are properly accounted for in your financial records.

The Menu Mode field allows you to select how your shop’s menu will be handled. The available options are:

  • Use the Online Menu for the POS: Use the same menu for both online orders and in-person point of sale transactions.
  • Use different Menu Online and in the POS: Have separate menus for online orders and in-person point of sale transactions.
  • No Online Menu, POS only: Indicate that the shop does not have an online menu and only uses a menu for in-person point of sale transactions.
